Steve always had a smile that would brighten your day! He had a terrific sense of humor and a generous spirit. He is one that I truly will miss seeing. I hope his children inherited some of his many gifts. What a great guy he was!!

Steve was a great guy and always kind and funny. We shared the same birthday along with Kathryn Hansen, and we had a fun meet-up when the U football team was playing Nebraska in the 80's.  I lived in Lincoln and there in Memorial Stadium in Nebraska were Steve and his wife cheering for the Utes.  It was great to see him and I guess he passed away soon after that. I am so sorry he and so many others are gone.

Steve was part of the Red Sweatshirt Gang..
His parents sat together on their front porch to watch us as we roamed the neighborhood. ..his brother Doug introduced us to the Watts Tower...Steve married a good woman. His sons were friends with Gayle Corah Wheyer's son...
When I was in Salt Lake last week, Kathy,Barbara and I read aloud from a published book of poems by Steve...he was deep...still remembered and loved...

This is the book of poetry Steve wrote and inscribed for his many friends. I still think about Steve and "our gang" often and fondly.
