Mary was a great friend of mine in high school.  Later, She and Dale and their two children lived in Santa Cruz and had a pottery studio where I took these photos.  They were very successful artists.

Mary had depression.  Her mother was also very ill.  We really had very little understanding of those problems at the time.

Thank you for posting the photos of Mary Jo, Candace. We were friends in elementary school when she first moved here. Her children are darling! I am so sorry she is no longer with them.

I remeber Mary Jo from Jr High (Stewart), where I had a hugh crush on her. Later she thought me to put vanilla in my french toast. To this day ever time I make french toast I remember her and cry inside.
