Opal Hunter Troop 1948 ~ 2009 Opal Hunter Troop, 61, of West Jordan, passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 11, 2009. Opal was born February 23, 1948, in Emmet, ID. She was the daughter of Heman Hunter and Erma Vickery Hunter. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Thomas Troop. They were married August 18, 1967 in the Salt Lake Temple. She is also survived by a daughter Jennifer Darcy, her husband Jeffrey, their children Brett, Jessica, Hope, and Mikell; and two sons, Richard, his wife Amy, their children Drayton and Logan; and Marshel, his wife Gina, and daughter Luciana. Surviving siblings are Heman Hunter, Barbara James, Dolores Cooper, Pearl Kitchen, Ruby Mecham, and Arthur Hunter.
