My sister took Russian from Mr. Law the year before I was a sophomore and it was her recommendation that I take the class.  It was 1963 and the cold war something we all lived with so it seemed like it might be a good idea to know Russian . . . just in case!  Big mistake.  Somehow I managed to pass the class without actually learning a thing!  "Porusky Yazik makes me sick"  is about all I got from a year of Russian. Sorry Mr. Law.  You were a great teacher, I was just a bad student.  And thanks, Pat Holland for making it all bearable.
