In Memory

Robert Wallace

Robert Wallace

Robert Bruce Wallace our loved father, brother, uncle and friend passed away, surrounded by family, September 2, 2017 in Salt Lake City, Utah.  He put up a valiant fight with a rapid moving illness.

He was born April 21, 1948 in Salt Lake City, Utah to A. Harper Wallace and Ellen Wales Wallace. He attended East High School and the University of Utah where he was a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity. He also served our Country, in the Air Force reserves for five years.

Robert later joined his family as a travel agent at the family business, Beehive Travel in Salt Lake City, Utah. He loved his profession and continued to work in the business travel industry until his retirement in 2015.

Robert married Michelle Montmorency [later divorced] and had three beautiful children, Matthew Eccles Wallace, Christopher Ashley Wallace, and Lara Wallace Graham [Aaron]. His children were the joys of his life. He was devastated when just two years ago, his beloved son Matthew passed away. We believe he had a joyous reunion with him and his loving parents.

He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Ashley Harper Wallace, Sue Ellen Wallace [Peter], Barbara (Babs) Wallace Baird [Charlie], William (Bill) Wallace [Jen] and Richard (Richie) Wallace [Daryl] and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the wonderful doctors, nurses, and staff in the Pulmonary ICU at IMC for their love, respect and compassionate care.

Private services will be held.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Humane Society of Utah in Robert's name.
