Arlin Mecham ** (Technical Drawing)

Arlin LeGrand Mecham, a quiet man who loved teaching departed January 31, 1998 due to leukemia at age 72.

 

Born August 19, 1925 in Ogden, Utah and raised in Morgan, Utah. Mr. Mecham was a commissioned officer in World War Il with the 55th Armored Infantry Division. He was awarded the Combat Infantry Badge and the Bronze Star. After the war he served a two year Southern States Mission from 1946-1948.

 

Mr. Mecham graduated from Morgan High School and Utah State University in 1951 with an Industrial Arts degree. He later returned to Utah State and completed his Master's degree. He taught High School in Salt Lake City for 30 years prior to his retirement.

 

He is survived by his wife Marilyn and his eight children.

Burial: Redwood Memorial Estates Cemetery.
